I would like to introduce myself, tell you a little bit about me and invite you to check back from time to time.
I am George Steberl III, the President and Head Goldsmith at Benchworks. (I'm the guy on the left.) Joan (right), whom I trained while she was still a student at Centerville High School, has been Goldsmithing for over 20 years. As for myself, I started working professionally in 1968.
After working for various Fine Jewelers, I went into business for myself 25 years ago. Our business philosophy is a simple one: Provide the best materials and workmanship at prices that are fair and reasonable. We may not always have the lowest "Price Point" but we will always have the highest quality available.
As our site grows you will find examples of some of our custom designed jewelry, have the ability to use our expertise and contacts to locate that Diamond or Precious Stone that you are looking for and have a piece of Fine Jewelry created for you, either from mountings provided by our many sources or custom designed to fit your unique needs and desires.
